Design Principle Activity

I made this project on Microsoft Publisher using the option of inserting shapes and patterns. It is made up of four large squares and a pattern of several tiny squares. Of the four squares, two are teal and two are cream. I chose these two colors to provide contrast, cool from the teal and warm from the cream. As the squares are layered on top of each other, they proportionally decrease in size. This supports proximity because all of the boarders created by the squares are the same distance apart and are aligned uniformly. The smallest square in the center is rotated ninety degrees. Repetition is seen in the pattern of the colors and squares. All of the four major design principles can be seen in this project.
